On Saturday 12th November 2022, some of service users Cherrytrees Care visited the country's capital for a day of education, exploring, socialising and sightseeing.
Staff from Cherrytrees Care supported service users to visit some of best sights across London including the infamous - Natural History Museum, which was a big hit amongst the group.
The entire day was a positive educational process and not just from a historical perspective.
Service users were able to work on essential daily living skills, in a completely new and challenging environment. Each individual took turns to navigate the group from sight to sight, whilst staying together and managing the crowds.
The trip was concluded with a final stop off at Camden Market, which was a request from the group. This environment was a great opportunity for the group to see the celebration of multiculturalism and helped them develop more understanding about cultures.
